A Joint Program of Northeastern University and Boston's School of the Museum of Fine Arts.
This new collaborative program consists predominately of studio art courses with an accompanying group of art/design history courses and general electives. Students will take their studio art classes at the Boston's School of the Museum of Fine, which is located directly adjacent to Northeastern’s campus. Art/design history courses and general electives will be taken at Northeastern. The BFA in Studio Art degree will be awarded by Northeastern University. Building on Northeastern’s history of leading experiential education opportunities, the curriculum will integrate practical and critical skills needed to pursue careers such as professional artist, university and art school professor or lifelong maker of culture.
